This is a description of the current Chuck implementation for owner and legal review, not approved terms or legal advice. It has no effective date.
Your recording and rights
Ghost-Trax processes a song you upload; it does not sell a song catalog or music rights. Only upload recordings, lyrics, logos and artwork you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for the rights needed for your upload and any use, sharing or performance of the output. A generated file does not grant those rights.
Accounts and credits
Accounts use email and password. Email verification is required before uploading, buying credits or downloading artifacts. Keep your sign-in details and any per-user API key private.
The current studio uses prepaid credits, not a Ghost-Trax subscription: one credit makes one track. Saved edits and exports do not spend another credit. Current server package prices in USD are 1 credit for $1.99, 10 for $17.91, 20 for $33.83 and 50 for $79.60. Checkout availability and the amount shown at checkout must be checked before paying. Stripe checkout is available only when configured.
Review the result
Separation, transcription, lyric lookup and timing can be inaccurate. Review the words, timing and exported audio or video before using them. The rendering code does not add a Ghost-Trax watermark; that does not establish ownership or licensing. Chuck's planned Modal processing is not remotely active, so this draft does not promise that new processing or exports are available.
Download and keep your own copy
Track files have an original maximum retention window of 7 days from job creation, shortened to 24 hours after the first actual ZIP or video download, whichever comes first. Instrumental preview does not start that download clock. Edits, new exports and later downloads do not extend the deadline.
Download and back up files before the displayed deadline. Expired files are unavailable; storage cleanup runs separately and may require retries. This is temporary processing storage, not a permanent music library. The file deadline does not mean account or payment records are deleted within 7 days.
Owner and legal review still needed
- Identify the service operator and decide applicable jurisdiction and the final legal terms.
- Approve refund and unused-credit rules; this draft sets no payment-refund policy.
- Confirm account deletion procedures, support availability and response expectations.
- Confirm processor agreements, retention details and rights language before enabling or publishing the service.
